ANALYTICS AND PERFORMANCE
Over the course of my career in higher education and non-profit marketing, I've developed data-driven social media strategies that consistently increase audience growth, engagement, and video performance across multiple institutions. By combining platform analytics with audience insights, I've created content that not only tells compelling stories but also delivers measurable results.
At Baylor University's College of Arts & Sciences, I built and launched the college's Instagram, YouTube, and Threads accounts while overseeing six social media platforms. Since August 2023, organic growth strategies have resulted in more than 4,500 new Instagram followers, 4,200 LinkedIn followers, 1,200 Facebook followers, 1,200 X followers, nearly 1,000 Threads followers, and continued YouTube growth. My original video series, including LIVE! on the Line, Research Roundup, Cart Chronicles, and Degree of Interest, have generated well over 100,000 combined video views.
Previously, at UNC Campus Recreation, I helped grow the department's Instagram audience by 4,500 followers while contributing to a video-first content strategy that surpassed 1 million TikTok views. My short-form video content generated more than 90,000 views across TikTok and Instagram Reels in 2022 alone, while recurring series such as The Huddle, Mic'd Up, and The Rec Check consistently increased engagement with students.
At Morehead Planetarium & Science Center, I continued leveraging analytics to optimize content performance, contributing to growth of 817 Instagram followers and 1,702 Facebook followers within a year. My Instagram Reels accumulated nearly 50,000 views, with several videos reaching thousands of viewers through educational storytelling and event coverage.
Across every organization I've served, analytics have guided my creative process...from identifying audience trends and optimizing posting strategies to measuring campaign success and refining future content. My approach balances storytelling with measurable performance, ensuring every piece of content supports broader marketing and communications goals.
